The #BabaeAko movement FAILED to unite Filipinos behind feminism and, instead, further polarised Ph society

The so-called Babae Ako movement will go down in history as a textbook case of how not to run an activist cause that seeks to come across as inclusive. It was ruined by its idiotic "thought leadership" and its attention whoring members and content producers.

Mae Paner a.k.a. "Juana Change" asserted that having a vagina is what defines womanhood. Memes were launched slut shaming Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson and highlighting an exclusive club of Yellowtard women -- Senator Leila de Lima, "vice president" Leni Robredo, and never-had-been-chief-justice Lourdes Sereno as the Philippines' quintessential "strong women".

In so doing, rather than unite Filipinos behind feminism, the Babae Ako movement had, instead, further polarised it. It effectively excluded people with no vaginas, women formerly or currently in the adult entertainment industry, and voters who did not vote for Yellowtard politicians.

Congratulations to the Babae Ako movement. Great work progressing the cause of feminism -- in reverse, that is.

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. Filipinos least rude in the world my ass!

Am I being a crab if I thought that the Philippines as the least rude country in a recent survey is complete and utter bullsh*t?  If you think about it, maybe we are very polite and cordial, to foreigners, as long as we can keep milking money from them.   Actually, this isn't even being polite; it's being called sipsip and switik.   Once they run out of money or just stop spending it on us, and especially once they criticize us constructively and give us tips on how to improve, we immediately say that the Joes are stupid and that they should all go home. Leni Robredo is like a cancerous tumor who needs to be removed as soon as possible. As long as she’s occupying the VP post, our country won’t be able to move forward. The drug lords, the gambling lords, illegal miners, police scalawags etc. will keep defying President Duterte for as long as Leni is there, waiting in the wings. They’ll keep destabilizing the country and trying to oust President Duterte, because they know they have a dummy ready to take over. This is karmic justice at work. Duterte just happens to be the channel that the universe used to send back to De Lima what she dished out to others. How can De Lima cry foul and accuse Duterte of character assassination, after what she and her yellow master did to Gloria Arroyo, Angelo Reyes, Chief Justice Corona, VP Binay, and Duterte himself?
