LOOK: President Duterte spotted in Greenbelt with shoppers crowding around looking and cheering

Shoppers spotted Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte at the posh Greenbelt Shopping Center. A video uploaded by TV producer Daphne Osena Paez onto Twitter captured the moment. Images above and below are stills from that video.


The video was taken from an ascending escalator. Surrounding women can be heard in the video swooning and calling out "Hi Mr. President!"

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. At least, if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ….. my victims, all criminals, to finish a problem of my country, and save the next generation.” (See for yourself here . Inquirer editors are wrong: It was De Lima, not Dick Gordon, who suffered a meltdown

The official yellow tabloid, also known as the “ Philippine Daily Inquirer ”, came out with an editorial against Senator Dick Gordon today. Gordon’s crime? Calling out Leila de Lima’s crap at the last Senate hearing. In the fantasy yellow planet that Inquirer editors live in, it was Gordon, not De Lima, who lost his sh*t and screamed like a lunatic, hence the op-ed title “Gordon’s meltdown”. According to the Inquirer , Gordon “tried to shame De Lima that angered many people watching the televised hearing”. That’s not a misprint. The Inquirer really wrote that. The #Philippines: A highly-sexualized society

Unfortunately the Philippines is a sexualized society, meaning that the only thing that matters is lust. Ika nga "sex sells" and it's very sad that Filipino society is indeed sexualized. From noontime shows to simple conversations, sex is the number one topic. I'm not saying sex is bad. It's actually a basic human need. But it has not to be perverted or making it an obsession. Sexualization reduces a person into a sex object meaning he or she is only worthy if she's oozing with sex appeal. Her intelligence and inner character become useless. The American Psychological Association defines sexualization as follows:"individuals are regarded as sex objects and evaluated in terms of their physical characteristics and sexiness" and unfortunately, this is what defines modern Philippine society thanks to Hollywood and moreover to prudish Christianity especially the Catholic Church.
