Philippine Opposition "activists" dub protest action to support CJ Sereno today the "Jericho March" to exploit Filipinos' religious character

Once again leaders of the Philippine Opposition conscript the Roman Catholic faith into their poltical agendas and so-called "activism".

Above is a photo (sourced from Twitter) of the latest "action" to protest the quo warranto petition against Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno. Dubbed the "Wall of Light" and the "Jericho March", it is evident that the Opposition modus operandi is to exploit Filipinos' renowned religiosity and superstitious nature to ingrain their way of thinking into the minds of the public.

This style of discourse needless to say keeps Philippine politics mired in Medieval thinking and hinders the uplift of the national debate to a level befitting a modern society.
