Rains from Typhoons Mario dump 268mm on Metro Manila after just 12 hrs compared to storm Ondoy in 2009 which dumped 400mm in 24 hours. (per PAGASA report)

  1. aha tama ako. Corrupt politicians, deforestation, urbanization, garbage and squatters can be part of the factors that increase the chance of flooding but I dont seriously believe that they can increase rainfall. Climate change can increase rainfall.
