The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. At least, if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ….. my victims, all criminals, to finish a problem of my country, and save the next generation.” (See for yourself here . Not since Marcos have we as a people been so polarized. As far as our hearts and minds are concerned it's like we're in the edge of a civil war. We are forced to take a hard look at ourselves and what we value. Because of this, we are fighting friends in coffee houses, on the telephone, and on Facebook. We are a people whose lives have been upended. We don't know what to do to get things done right and right away. We lash out. We insult our leaders trying to get them to do a lot more than to pose for photo ops – of giving out relief goods on a one-by-one basis. We cry desperately for demonstrable government response – we get almost next to nothing. It is increasingly apparent that local media goes hand in hand with self-servicing Malacañang press releases which are more concerned with their showbiz image than confronting, accepting and dealing with the problem. BREAKING NEWS! Bongbong Marcos NOT conceding! Fight vs fraud is on!

Contrary to the way Big Yellow Media and International Media have portrayed events of recent days, the reality is BBM is NOT CONCEDING.  I have learned just now in good authority that this is so.  The focus right now is on gathering and documenting evidence and testimonies of electoral fraud.  Much has already been gathered and more are coming.  Please continue to be extra vigilant and engaged as these days are ultra critical while there is not yet a VP proclamation. I also want to take issue with all the news stories that say Senator BBM has lost the election.  This is not objectively true.  If a proper recount is done taking into consideration all issues and instances of fraud, Marcos Jr. is by all accounts and as reported by all third party exit polls, the TRUE WINNER.  These stories on mainstream media are just way too premature and profoundly wrong.  Please do not believe them.  Stay tuned here to know what is really going on in this developing story. To Gilas fans I respect very much your support and enthusiasm on the win and efforts of Gilas. But "Pwede na yan attitude" (this will do) is a clear sign of FILIPINO MEDIOCRITY – being happy & contented with a none bearing win instead of winning all 4. It also makes Filipinos stupid/dumb because there is really Nothing to be proud of – win or loose Senegal not Gilas will qualify in the next round of FIBA. "Pwede na yan! (That will do!) – This kind of thinking makes us content with mediocrity. Whenever we say pwede na yan, we're saying I'm ok with so-so products & services, I'm ok with low quality or mediocre output.
