"He's just a boy!" - AFP Chief of Staff Catapang on seeing detained US Marine Joseph Scott #Pemberton

Apparently stunned by the youth of US Marine Private First Class Joseph Scott Pemberton, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang agrees to a recommendation that another US soldier accompany Pemberton in detention "because the kid might consider suicide."

Pemberton, 19, is accused of killing Filipino transgender Jeffrey Laude, 26, who, on the basis of witness testimony, may have misrepresented himself as a woman on the night of the alleged crime. Said the witness, Mark Clarence "Barbie" Gelviro, testified before the Philippine Senate Foreign Relations Committee saying that "Pemberton thought we were real women."

Referencing Inquirer.net report:

  1. he's from suburban america, people there are not used to seeing trannies. of course he would easily mistake those trannies as exotic but real women.

  2. Tranny got what was coming to him.

  3. Lets just say he got fooled, Does is justify to kill a person? This is a beginning of a very violent man turning into a murderer then a serial killer!!!!

    1. Already guilty ha? Yes filipinos, dont let facts get in the way 0f a good drama story...
