Outrage over Leni Robredo's fraudulent Vice Presidency prevails among ordinary Filipinos!
To those who say Leni Robredo is the legally recognized VP, please think about this — legally recognized by whom? By the yellow officials who installed her through illicit means? By the dwindling band of yellow fanatics who turned up at Luneta last weekend? Go out to the streets. Talk to the jeepney drivers, taxi drivers, vendors, commuters, etc. Talk to the real people expressing their disgust and disbelief in forums, facebook, etc. The outrage is everywhere, expressed several times a day, everyday, in the Philippines and among the OFWs. Robredo can be sworn in a thousand times by Drilon and Belmonte, declared "winner" a million times by Andres Bautista, "legalized" a billion times by Sereno, and congratulated a trillion times by the US and other ambassadors, but majority of the Filipino people STILL won't believe she's legit.
Also, think about this: had Escudero or Cayetano been declared winner for VP, do you think there would be this kind of outrage? No. Not even from Marcos loyalists. People would be okay with it. Why? Because this is not about the Marcoses. It's about THE CHEATING. The cheating that was done to install a fake VP so that Plan B vs Duterte could be put into action.
Now, was Robredo an innocent pawn in all this? At first, I thought she was. I thought she was just a clueless neophyte probinsyana politico who got plucked out of nowhere because the LP needed someone who could be packaged into a pseudo-Grace Poe after Poe refused to run for VP under LP. But look at Robredo now, how she keeps dismissing all the election anomalies like they were nothing. Like it doesn't matter that there was a fourth server that no one knew about. Like it doesn't matter that she got way more than 50% of the votes in places where most people had never heard of her just 3-4 months before the election. If she was a true selfless, honorable person who cared about the greater good of the Filipino nation, she would be lobbying for an audit as much as the Marcos camp.
This is beyond Marcos and Robredo. The integrity of our electoral process is at stake here. Plus, nakakahiya di ba, para sa taong may hiya, to occupy a position that you may not actually be entitled to, especially with all the irregularities that have come out. But no. Robredo is totally caught up in her newfound fame, strutting around in fancy clothes and holding press conferences right and left with an official seal and Philippine flag like she is more important than the president himself. She even looks different from how she looked two months ago. Her hair and face look like they've been lightened. She looks more and more like Vicki Belo everyday because of the makeup and hair. I suppose this is what happens when a person who is nothing more than a media creation spends too much time with socialites, preening for the cameras.
It is so ironic, because the real socialite, Gina Lopez, the one who doesn't even have to try, is just in jeans most of the time and has been working much harder than Robredo, and has delivered far better results. Also, Gina Lopez, whose father directly suffered under Marcos, has done the proper thing as a Cabinet member and kept silent about the burial (non)-issue because, whether we agree with it or not, this is the president's prerogative and it has basis in law and all the people who voted for Duterte already knew that he was willing to bury Marcos in LNB when they voted for him.
There you go. I would like you to know that I normally do not comment on blogs and articles like this. But, just like many others, Robredo's fakery has disgusted me to a point where I feel like I'm going to burst if I don't say something.

What is really scary is, God forbids that something happens to President Duterte, then we will have a Manchurian candidate as president.
ReplyDeletespot on my friend, please write again. We OFWs in Saudi Arabia are equally disgusted. I visited Jubail, Damam, and here in Riyadh, same sentiment as yours
ReplyDeleteVP Leni Robredo being a cabinet official of the Duterte government is supposed to be his alter ego, an extension of the president, every word she says in the press is just as if the president is the one saying it. Now the pres says he wants a burial of Pres Marcos at the LNMB, then here comes Robredo saying otherwise, that is absurd. Its like she is talking as if PANOT ABNOY is still the president. If I were Pres Duterte I wpould fire her on the spot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, right, Just imagine if something bad happens to PRD, or an impeachment is successfully manipulated, we will have a fraud leader. A puppet of the yellow cult. What would happen to our beloved nation?
ReplyDelete...provide the evidence VP Robredo cheated. All insinuations are worthless and just sour graping....
ReplyDeleteKuhhhraaayyzeeee - Don't tell that to us. Tell that to her - It is robredo herself that is blocking the investigation. Now go if you so believe it was clean. Go go go and start the presentation of evidence! what a waste of bytes. -JD
DeleteMarlon...I pity you....I don't know if your playing dumb or dumber....... are you not worried? its not about Marcos....yes I'm an Ilocano.... but its about the credibility of COMELEC.... where there is a smoke...there's a fire....
DeleteThe article is obviously not objective and purely speculative. Robredo won Visayas and a good portion of Mindanao. Did he only talk to jeepney drivers and taxi drivers in the Luzon?
ReplyDeleteIf there was indeed electoral cheating, where is the evidence? Or some little solid evidence to go on with. Leni had an efficient campaign, visited more provinces than Marcos. She had more volunteers at the grassroots level. And it was a big plus that she had Liberal Party's machinery.
Officials are expected to dress appropriately and be presentable especially when you're the VP, she represents the country as well. Ano gusto mo naka-pambahay pag humarap sa madla.
Gina Lopez is a Duterte appointee, doesn't bode well for her to criticize her boss as she can be fired anytime. Unlike Robredo who is an elected official, she can voice out principles without fear of being fired. Given time, Leni can do a good job at Housing. Unlike DENR, Housing isn't as controversial or glamorous. If Gina speaks out on the LNMB, she risks the wrath of Duterte and her good plans for DENR will be wasted. She has good intentions and is an experienced manager.
The VP is not the alter ego of the President. That's the Executive Secretary. Notice how Leni isn't even involved in the day to day running of the country.
Anyway, just read about the Marcos family and their sins, do your research, read about history. They haven't changed their hideous ways.
You are saying that, invistigate about marcos??? Marcoses has no secrets anymore, it's all in public. Especially about wealth. How old are you now and during the time of Marcos? You must research both sides.
Delete1. "LP Machinery"
ReplyDeleteRobredo certainly benefited from the LP machinery, no argument there. She especially benefited from the most valuable kind of LP machinery--the vote counting machines (and their supplier). "Where is the evidence of cheating?" Obviously, it would be with the Comelec, assuming it hasn't been erased yet.
2. "More volunteers at grassroots level"
Who elects the VP? Volunteers or voters? Does having more volunteers mean you win an election? It is the number of VOTERS who matter, not the number of volunteers. And judging from the level of outrage going on against Robredo online and offline, only the truly delusional would believe she got 88% (14 M divided by 16 M) as many votes as the hugely popular Duterte.
3. "She is expected to dress appropriately"
There's a difference between dressing appropriately, and trying to call attention to yourself through your clothes. Case in point: the recent SONA. While the other women, even the likes of Gretchen Barretto and Lucy Torres, abided by the president's request to come in subdued business attire, Robredo showed up in some kind of prom dress with bare shoulders that was really inappropriate, and the inappropriateness became even more stark when the president himself arrived in the simplest barong with rolled up sleeves.
4. "Gina Lopez is a Duterte appointee"
And Robredo is not? Didn't Robredo practically beg to be appointed by Duterte to a Cabinet position? And despite all the terrible things her party did to him during the elections, he was magnanimous and he gave her a chance. Now what does she do? She keeps disrespecting him by speaking out against his policies in the media. If this is what she wants to do, then she should just resign from her Cabinet position. That is what a person with breeding and delicadeza would do. Even VP Binay had enough delicadeza to understand this, so he resigned first before he started speaking publicly against the previous admin.
5. "Housing isn't as controversial and glamorous as DENR"
What kind of a sorry excuse is this for Robredo's non-performance? Why would glamor and controversy even matter? The fact that you even bring this up just proves that Robredo's camp is way to obsessed with PR and media mileage. Now I understand why Robredo is dragging her feet with her HUDCC job. She doesn't think it will land her any press coverage! Who cares about the millions of people waiting for affordable housing?
Is shutting down mines glamorous (Gina Lopez, DENR)? Is running after drug lords glamorous (Gen. Bato de la Rosa, PNP)? Is raiding prisons to confiscate contraband glamorous (Sec. Aguirre, DOJ)? Is fixing dilapidated airports and trains glamorous (Sec. Tugade, DOTr)? Is repatriating hundreds of stranded OFWs from Saudi glamorous (Sec. Bello, DOLE)?
Of course not. Government work is tough, thankless, and even life-threatening. And no one is working harder and facing life-threatening challenges everyday more than the president himself. Meanwhile, Robredo does nothing and just keeps yakking.
If, apparently, glamor and controversy are what Robredo wants, then she shouldn't be in government, she should be in show business. Then she can have all the press cons and pictorials that she wants, and no one would criticize her for spending so much time schmoozing and playing dress-up and commenting about everything under the sun.
But, if she is sincere about her work in government, she should shut up, stop spending 99% of her time on self-promoting PR stunts and acting as chief mouthpiece of LP, so she can get actual work done. It is the Filipino people who are paying for her staff and her Boracay mansion office and her salary, not the LP.
6. "Marcos family and their sins"
Ayan, pag di na kaya i-defend si Robredo using logic, ipasok si Marcos at mga kasalanan ni Marcos sa usapan. Dios mio. Game over.
"Robredo won Visayas and a good portion of Mindanao"
ReplyDeleteNo she did not.
Of course, she did not! Visayans and Bisaya-speaking Mindanaoans are not as stupid as she would like to believe. I'd say Marcos Jr won hands down in these parts of the Philippines. Take a cue from what happened in Kidapawan and Mamasapano -- and add the rape of 'Yolanda' funds -- no way the Visayas and Mindanao folks would not notice and take action.
DeleteRobredo is one of the worst kind of politician. She cheats, lies, manipulates and deceits. Everything an evil politician would do just to have the world and loses her own soul in the process.
ReplyDeleteIs this propaganda from Marcos camp?? non sense articles..
ReplyDeleteFake news ito
DeleteWell, galing naman ni VP Lenie kung nadaya nya ang pinaka ma impuluwensyang tao sa larangan ng politika sa Pilipinas... ang MARCOS.
