Critics of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte who have trained their crosshairs on easy target Isabelle Duterte should check out this photo of early Yellowtards "disrespecting" the seal of the President of the Philippines.

Herein is exhibit the inconsistency inherent in a focus not just on people but on partisanism rather than bigger over-arching issues of national consequence. Sooner or later, one factoid or another emerged that easily discredits the superficial position petty "activism" encourages its players to take just to one-up the other.

In the case of this incriminating photo, the argument is quite straightforward. Yellowtards disrespected the Philippines' presidential seal first.

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterteā€™s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didnā€™t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: ā€œ Philippinesā€™ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ā€. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. Thereā€™s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: ā€œHitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. Iā€™d be happy to slaughter them. Am I being a crab if I thought that the Philippines as the least rude country in a recent survey is complete and utter bullsh*t?  If you think about it, maybe we are very polite and cordial, to foreigners, as long as we can keep milking money from them.   Actually, this isn't even being polite; it's being called sipsip and switik.   Once they run out of money or just stop spending it on us, and especially once they criticize us constructively and give us tips on how to improve, we immediately say that the Joes are stupid and that they should all go home. Leni Robredo is like a cancerous tumor who needs to be removed as soon as possible. As long as sheā€™s occupying the VP post, our country wonā€™t be able to move forward. The drug lords, the gambling lords, illegal miners, police scalawags etc. will keep defying President Duterte for as long as Leni is there, waiting in the wings. This is karmic justice at work. Duterte just happens to be the channel that the universe used to send back to De Lima what she dished out to others. How can De Lima cry foul and accuse Duterte of character assassination, after what she and her yellow master did to Gloria Arroyo, Angelo Reyes, Chief Justice Corona, VP Binay, and Duterte himself?
