Huge achievements crammed within Duterte's first 117 days goes UNREPORTED

POST FACT. POST TRUTH

Wait a minute....

Did you know that we have a leader who ....

... Has visited 14 military camps in just a month, including installations that no sitting president has ever laid eyes before. He also visited military hospitals and has invited wounded soldiers for a dinner get together in Malacanang. He was also able to conduct an actual command conference in Basilan.
...

...Has initiated peace talks with the left with the hope on ending a long standing armed struggle. Established goodwill by freeing prominent leftists leaders. Also pursuing peace talks with muslim secessionists.

...Has managed to negotiate for the release of foreigners held hostage by armed bandits in the south.

... Has handled a terrorist crisis well (Davao bombing) managing to immediately restore normalcy, personally visiting the dead and comforting the injured, and enabled the authorities to immediately track down the perpetrators.  After which, he also managed to direct an all out offensive against the armed terrorists

...Has visited Batanes after a typhoon, and even if Batanes is governed by a prominent clan opposed to him.

... Has visited China, Japan, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam and attended an ASEAN Summit in Laos. Note the significance of giving priority to Asian neighbors. In China alone, he obtained commitment on investments and loans worth a combined $24Billion.

... in between two foreign trips, went to visit another typhoon ravaged area (Cagayan), on a Sunday when most people are resting...

... Has opened Malacanang to leftists, the first time ever said group was able to set foot in the palace.

...Has been mentioned or is a frequent topic of conversation now across the globe so much so that he and our country were even mentioned in a campaign rally by one of two presidential candidates in the US of A.

...Has managed to significantly improve airport and airline services, and got rid of the "tanim bala" scam by a simple directive.

...Has managed to improve LRT MRT services, including operation of basic but convenient facilities like escalators and elevators.

...Has managed to launch a nationwide emergency response system 911, and a nationwide government complaint center 8888 in just his first month in office.

... Has required the entire government to eliminate long lines or queue by ordinary people, and also simplify government transactions. For instance, drivers license are now valid for 5 years while passports will be valid for 10 years. Meanwhile, all permits and licenses and documents like NSO certificates, Seamans' book should be released in 3 days.

...Has managed to sign an FOI for the executive branch of government, the only chief executive to do so.

... Has managed to significantly improve disaster preparedness and relief operations plus proper use and spend of government resources.

...Has managed to adopt changes in the agricultural sector to enable the country to be self reliant in food production and distribution. Most importantly, he ordered the DA to implement FREE IRRIGATION nationwide.

...Has paved the way to genuine land reform as well as directing the release of coco levy funds to the real beneficiaries.

... Has directed the adoption of responsible mining, and ordered DENR to comprehensively review all mining permits and impose sanctions to erring mining companies.

...Has directed the repatriation of stranded OFWs and personally welcoming them at the airport.

...Has managed to open one-stop-shops for OFW requirements for ease of transactions. Also ordered that balikbayan boxes worth less than P10,000 should be tax-free.

...Has ordered the discontinuance of ENDO for more than 10,000 affected workers.

...Has directed PAGCOR not renew licenses of online gambling and re-allocate its funds to be used to improve health services and education.

... Has managed to sneak in and around Metro Manila and personally put to task mayors who have been sleeping on the job. This is not being mentioned officially, and there will be a denial if there will be those who will try to confirm. Exhibit A: Divisoria Exhibit B: Alabang Exhibit C: Pasig

800,000++ drug users pushers surrendering
20,000++ drug users pushers who were apprehended

Crime rate down by more than 40%

All these in 117 days...

By a foul mouth, uncouth, and psychopath president named Rodrigo Roa Duterte...

Need do we say more?

  10. Being called uncouth and foul mouth isn't really a big deal. But if you call someone a psychopath, medyo hitting below the belt na ata yon (unless you really show us medical certificate of mental sickness lol). Whether you like him or not, his policies or not, he won and all we can do is hope that he has the well being of our country in his mind. I am actually reserving my comments (I try) until he is a good 1/4th into his term. This I say as someone who DIDN'T vote for him.

  11. for only 117 days my loyalty to him erodes. all you mentioned were the job of that office, why aiming for when can't be performed (presidency). btw, Beware of that chinese deals, it's too shady. If you don't want to be subservient why turn to the other side.lastly, don't flex muscles you don't have hugo chavez.

    1. Those were the directives of the president fyi. He got the political will which previous presidents lack. "why turn to the other side" He went to China for an economic deal. Whether you like it or not, China is 2nd biggest economy on this planet. Is it wrong if we deal with them? I hope you are not a business man because you sure don't think like one.

    2. Agree 100% with you Rowell. Stupid small minds of these yellows who refused to see the truth, and all those so-called loyals whose faith erodes for mind bugging no reasons at all --- get out of the country and live else where...it's that simple if you all can't support Duterte's governance!!!!

  12. All these things àre great and I'm realy glad you feel that way about your president however sadly I like many others wont be coming back to the philipinnes until Mr duterte stops acting like a dictator it's great he's rushed through reforms and is aiming at trying to fix a lot of the corruption however due process with this guy has went out the window you forgot to mention the children who were shot and killed during the clean up of the drug dealers a five year old and a four year old I believe is this what you call an acreptable loss ? Is duterte still a great man .....how many children can he kill before he is not a great man I'm not saying what he has done for the philipinnes is not a good thing however his methods leave a lot to be desired and I like many others will.not risk the lives of my family to return to a place where the rule of force has overtaken the rule of law sure we would all love to move red tape out of the way speed up processes but legitimising murder to your citezens police and army of the over 3000 people killed as drug dealer you cannot tell me all were guilty especially not the two children (that I know of) they were only guilty of being on this planet so yeah visa duterte the ass locker of the Chinese the man who is presently selling you out quicker than the Spanish ever did

    2. Please, don't come back here in the Philippines. You'll only ruined everything. My country will be much better now, especially when the likes of you are not coming back.

    5. A Dictator kills just to stay in power. Duterte was voted by a majority of people. And as you can see from the list here, he's done a tremendous job of achieving many things all for the benefit for the average Filipino rather than the select elites. If you want to leave the Philippines, that's your choice. Please be aware that if you return and enjoy the peace and security and prosperity of the new Philippines, its because this "Dictator" was brave enough to sacrifice and work hard for the good of all to make lives better. You want to go back to the previous administrations when murder, rape, robbery were much more rampant? Maybe you SHOULD stay away from the Philippines.

    6. In a perfect world, you may achieve the things that you don't want with the current president. But there is no such thing as a perfect world. The balance between the good and evil makes up this world. It's not bad to wish or even pray for the world that you envision but unfortunately no great men, living or dead have come close to your expectations.

      Delete
    7. And please try to correct our country's spelling because the way you spelled it was so irritating. It should be spelled...PHILIPPINES. Lastly, he did not authorize the automatic killing of suspects (you should listen more to his speeches) and will be the last person in this country who will sell his own homeland to any foreign countries. Grow up and think hard, for the sake of your family.

  14. Previous presidents have brought nothing but shame to our country (at least from my point of view and for as long as I can remember). This guy.... lol. He definitely gets things done. While I do not agree with some of his decisions I would think that they are for the betterment of our country and not for selfish reasons. As long as somebody can keep him in check this guy is really promising...

Who do you think a President with cabinets that are more than 90% of them are all valedictorians and scholars will bring the Philippines in deep sh*t of your pride for not believing what's happening? I propose to you to join your neighbors to do good. or maybe start to embrace your family member that you are actually in the Philippines to experience developing Philippines. I remember the story about Korean president who asked assistance from other leaders to help their country. this is what is happening to the Philippines. your garbage talking is only for yourself and not for the entire FILIPINO community. Remember just do good to your family first. Always do good.

  22. The Africans have had good business/economic deals with China for more than 10 years now. They have learned their lessons from their dealings with their respective colonial masters who plundered their wealth in exchange for a promise to provide military defence. They said they are not at war with anybody and would only want a progressive economy in their respective countries which China can help without interfering in their sovereignty or foreign policy. The Africans are not stupid or uneducated as the West wants to believe. The Africans will no longer allow the West to bully them. Unfortunately, African leaders don't have the political will to eradicate corruption in their governments. We should all be grateful for President Duterte's strong political will.
