Why Bongbong Marcos will not make a good president of the #Philippines

There is no reason to expect that Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. would be a 'good' president. Like all of his contemporaries, he is the epitome of the traditional politician. Filipinos — especially northerners — point out that he has done much to improve their lives. That does not demonstrate principled leadership. It's an example of the same old partisan politics — reallocating and redistributing as much of the country's wealth that he will allow to his 'kababayans.' They overlook the fact that Marcos is NOT a representative of Ilocos; he is a SENATOR of the REPUBLIC. That is an office that serves the NATION; ALL Filipinos, NOT his local network of relatives, friends, cronies and hangers-on. His office represents ALL ethnic groups; it isn't limited to people born in the Ilocos region. Understanding that the President of the Republic represents ALL Filipinos should come first.

  1. The fact that he is the son of the Hitler of Asia (Ferdinand Marcos) SHOULD COME FIRST! Would Germany elect an Adolph Hitler Jr? IT'S INSANE!

  2. Who ANYONE'S parents were, doesn't have a damn thing to do with who they are as the next generation. God!! You people can be so stupid at times. You talk as if he was elected on a Monday, by Tuesday he will have declared Martial Law. But look who I am talking to here? You talk s**t on Marcos, while electing the the half-wit son of a former Japanese sympathizer, and Colonel in the NPA.

    1. It is obvious that the Yellow Zombies have started their black propaganda as it was in the EDSA 1 revolution. Their accusations and arguments are baseless and unfounded.

  3. These Unlamented EDSA Yellow Protagonists are trying their best to revive the euphoria of 1986. Hahahahaha. 30 years ago pa yon mga dude. Salonga: "Ka Pepe(fondly addressing Sen. Sen. Roy was with his son then, Ron Roy who is now a lawyer. Sensing that Sen. Salonga mighty say more damaging things, the good Senator Roy just asked Sen. Salonga to stay relaxed and take his needed rest which the latter did. Quo Vadis, yellow? The rainbow is taking over. It offers better hope without masks and with all the naturalness. Paalam!
