Essayist Sarah Kendzior accuses Duterte of being a 'mass murderer' of 'his own citizens'

In a tweet posted on the 15th November 2017, popular essayist Sarah Kendzior described Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte as a man who "orders the mass murder of his own citizens".



Kendzior seems to have impressive credentials as laid out in the About section of her website...

Previously I was an op-ed columnist for Al Jazeera English, where I wrote about exploitation, particularly in higher education, the diminishing opportunities of America’s youth, and gentrification. Is Duterte a "mass murderer"? Perhaps we could expect a proper answer to that simple question from Kendzior after she's has a bit of time to think things through properly.

    you should do your research better and talk the 2 party ( government and opposition) you should not rely on articles written by mainstream media . you go to bloggers, influencer and ordinary people who made duterte where he is now? then tell me did you do all of this? if not, you are not reliable person to be interested in and I will not sit down for my favorite copy to ready any article you are writing. and I will criticize your school who passed you of your title right now. be partial, that's true journalism and a write should be..

Jose Rizal never had Tagalog in mind when he encouraged us to love our own language

Posted by a certain Chloe Santiago on the Facebook GRP Community Group : Jose Rizal died in 1896 and Tagalog was declared the official language of the Philippine only in 1937. This can only mean that Rizal wasn't really talking about Tagalog when he made this statement: "He who does not love his own language is worse than an animal and smelly fish." Indeed. Who made the arbitrary directive to make the Tagalog dialect the "National Language" to begin with? Furthermore, why have a "National Language" when Filipinos are already proficient in the global lingua franca of commerce and scientific achievement?

Filipinos have no right to complain about being fenced off #ASEAN2017 VIP lanes

Perhaps Filipino motorists deserved to be fenced off from ASEAN lanes that have been cordoned  off for the duration of the ASEAN Summit to be held in Manila this week. Filipino drivers, after all, are renowned for being being ill-mannered and inconsiderate and not at all deserving of the privilege of using public roads to begin with. Indeed, according to this Top Gear report , most Filipinos cheated their way through the process of acquiring a driver's licence.. Assuming you actually took the Land Transportation Office's written examination while applying for a driver's license for the first time--as opposed to just paying off the LTO officer in exchange for a passing mark--there's a good chance you encountered a fixer anyway.
