The choice to vote Mocha Uson senator of the Philippines is what the Yellowtards fought for in 1986

It's bizarre that people who keep screeching about the Philippines' supposed descent to authoritarianism are the same ones who also screech about Filipinos being given the option to vote for Mocha Uson.

Uson had recently been fielded by the PDP Laban as a senatorial candidate...

Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) Secretary General and House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez said Friday the three are on the party's list of candidates for the Senate. 
He made the disclosure at the mass-oathtaking of new members of  PDP-Laban at the Plaza Independencia in Cebu.

This is, indeed, the power accorded to a democratic people that Filipino democrats supposedly fought for -- the right to choose Mocha Uson. The word Laban after all means "fight". Laban encapsulates the ideology of the current Philippine Opposition led by the Liberal Party whose members and leadership flash the renowned "L" hand gesture at every opportunity.

Mocha Uson has every right to run for senator and if she wins, Filipinos deserve to be represented by Mocha Uson in the Senate. If a convicted mutineer like Antonio Trillanes could be a Philippine 'senator', why not Mocha Uson, right?

Victims of drug-crazed addicts don't get 'trending' hashtags like #JusticeForKian

For the past few days I was doing research on a few things like I said. A new FB friend sent me a message telling me about a Dad in Dumaguete who lost his only daughter to a drug crazed addict who used 7 knives to stab her and a friend in Siquijor last April. I did the research, read up on everything and his recent "upheavals". I need not tell you all that I have no words to fully express how deeply this affects me because I am a single mom with a daughter too. His only daughter was even 3 - 4 months pregnant when she and her friend was mercilessly stabbed to death so many times by a drug addict. Nino Pinero is a professor in Siliman University. He is a coach. Given what I have read about this gentleman, he is a very compassionate man, a loving father and being a coach to youngsters - deeply loved by his students. It's not really a Duterte dictatorship that Yellowtards fear but a looming Macapagal-Marcos political alliance. The scions of Cong Dadong and Apo Lakay are on a mission of redemption. They want history to be kinder to their respective plights. In the case of GMA, she wants to be remembered as the President who did more for the country post-Marcos and not the President who replaced Erap in a civil-military coup. She also wants to remove the ignominious circumstances of her detention for five years on trumped up charges. In the case of Bongbong, the Marcoses have been enjoying a renaissance already. Nothing would validate this more than a return to Malacañan as President or Prime Minister depending​ on the outcome of the move to amend the Constitution. Senate Lascanas and Motabato Show an LP ploy to create more ammo for int'l media vs Duterte

I think Lascanas really did have a murder-for-hire racket going on with Matobato. So all those murders he said he committed are most probably true. The question is, did Duterte order those murders? Can it be proven that he ordered them? Not likely. Those charges against Duterte have been around for thirty years and no one has been able to prove them. It's not likely they can be proven now. And it doesn't matter, because that's not the real goal of the Liberal Party. The real goal of the LP-sponsored Lascanas/Matobato Show at the Senate is to produce new anti-Duterte content for the international media.
