A message to Ateneo faculty member Nathania Chua a.k.a. @PilosopoTanya

Dear Nathania Chua:

My professor in "Global Poverty, Local Solutions" did field work in poverty stricken areas in the Philippines. During our first day, when I introduced myself as a Filipino, he told me this immediately: "One of the major problems in your country is that the elite in your country is so full of themselves."

The Ateneo de Manila University is one of the schools where the elite are educated. I noticed that you are an Assistant Instructor there. I fear for the future of our country with you as the teacher of our future elite. What a horrifying future for our motherland!

So when I worry about how hard it is for the laylayan in our lipunan to advance in our society, I'll always think of you and imagine how you have connived in perpetuating a system that constantly rewards matapobres.  A University that doesn't see any problem with a DOJ Secretary fncking her subordinate, her married subordinate, is a university doomed to produce the same elite that turned our country into a haven for pedophiles and drug syndicates.

That's all.

  3. To the Ateneo de Manila University management: this Fuckin Nathania Chua is a bitch, who should work in a whore house where you rightfully belong, instead of teaching at the Ateneo.

  4. Wow, you are not only uneducated, you are also sexist. What a nice combination. You're shaming this woman for speaking candidly, and condoning the president for doing the same.

  6. What kind of teacher is she? There are more normal teachers in PSBA. If I find out that my son is in one of her subjects, I'll have my him drop the class, shift course or even transfer to PSBA. Yes, I still call the shots because I am paying for high tuition fees just to get trash for a teacher.

  7. I don't get messages like this. Why can't the author just send this directly to the teacher instead of having the need to publicly share this? These kinds of social media behavior are so Filipino... My two cents.

    1. We don't get why the teacher would publicly post asinine stuff like these in the internet in the first place. Respect begets respect. So please, don't let's not go for "these kind of social media are so Filipino" You seemed to overlooked this Filipina is acting more American than the American.
