Opposition rhetoric of #PNoy administration links ALL critics to GMA #philippines

What is worse is that anyone who opposes the Administration and who is not part of the Left is automatically linked to former Pres. Arroyo. The opposition rhetoric of the administration (man, that just sounds weird) is being used as a shield and to legitimize his "end-justifies-the-means" approach to his beating the administration's enemies.

Take for example the rumor that there are some retired generals seeking to destabilize government. This rumor, which is being spread by Sen. Trillanes is being linked to Gloria Arroyo. I don't know if you would agree with me, but this rumor just seems so laughable, I couldn't believe my ears when the media reported this.

I guess its just one of the problems also with an administration which was once from the opposition, they always need a target to vent their wrath. Without that target, they just can't seem to justify their own existence.

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. I finally feel that I need to speak up. There has been much in the press lately about newly elected Philippine President Duterte. Most of what is said focuses on his policies toward the illegal drug problem, and his direct (to put it mildly) comments to other national leaders, particularly to US leaders. The world's press responds with concern, even alarm. In the Philippines, he is immensely popular. As an American who has lived here in the Philippines for 30+ years, I think I understand why. To our 1st-World Critics: A few days ago, one of our youngest police officers at age 23 was shot dead while trying to serve a warrant of arrest. He wasn't just a Police officer, he was also a Christian youth minister. He was shot to death by the drug peddler before he could even speak. He was laid to his final resting place last Sunday, leaving a wife and family. We have lost many good men in this fight.
