The hypocrisy in the petition to shut down Mocha Uson’s Facebook page

Uson’s popularity and access to Malacanang have made her the target of vicious attacks from anti-Duterte Netizens. Even mainstream media outlets such as Rappler have attempted to write her off as a quack. In a series of articles denouncing the way Duterte supporters have all but “weaponized” the Internet, Rappler CEO Maria Ressa even blamed the algorithm used by Facebook to prioritise what content gets displayed on users’ timeline for Uson’s rise to prominence writing that “algorithms don’t distinguish fact from fiction.”

So does Mocha Uson’s Facebook page deserve to be suspended?

Just watched Day 2 of Senate hearing. Tables were turned once again on De Lima, without any effort it seems from the PNP or Duterte's senate allies. This must really be karma at work, or Duterte's magic is really strong. Inquirer editors are wrong: It was De Lima, not Dick Gordon, who suffered a meltdown

The official yellow tabloid, also known as the “ Philippine Daily Inquirer ”, came out with an editorial against Senator Dick Gordon today. Gordon’s crime? Calling out Leila de Lima’s crap at the last Senate hearing. In the fantasy yellow planet that Inquirer editors live in, it was Gordon, not De Lima, who lost his sh*t and screamed like a lunatic, hence the op-ed title “Gordon’s meltdown”. According to the Inquirer , Gordon “tried to shame De Lima that angered many people watching the televised hearing”. That’s not a misprint. The Inquirer really wrote that. Reporters Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato of @Reuters LIED about the Duterte "Hitler" quote

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them.
