Filipinos have six years paying a non-working "vice president" who is now just an LP mouthpiece

Former VP Jojo Binay was not treated decently by Abnoy but he still had a job as HUDCC Head and it was not until the last year of their term Binay became an opposition figure. Before that, he was in public service barely even releasing press statements to express his dislike in the former administration. In his last year, the yellow trolls destroyed him with several fabricated exposes. None of the exposes was proven true in court until now.

On the other hand, Leni made it obvious where she stands. She was already an opposition figure during the elections but she was still given a chance to be part of the Cabinet by holding the position as HUDCC Head. Initially, she wanted to be part of the DSWD (where many laid suspicion she had hidden shady motives on her choice).

In her quest for power and popularity, she released one press statement after another contrary to her promised support for Digong and the admin. Her alliance with the yellow trolls and lack of performance in her work made her ineffective in gaining the support to launch a full scale media blitz against Duterte.

See the difference. Binay was still a working VP until his last year. On the other hand, Leni has no more authority to push her programs as she voluntarily resigned as HUDCC Head. She lets her emotions get in the way of work. May kasabihan "walang personalan, trabaho lang". So we have six years paying a non working VP who is now just an LP mouthpiece. We are paying her for nothing.

Jose Rizal never had Tagalog in mind when he encouraged us to love our own language

This can only mean that Rizal wasn't really talking about Tagalog when he made this statement: "He who does not love his own language is worse than an animal and smelly fish." Indeed. Who made the arbitrary directive to make the Tagalog dialect the "National Language" to begin with? Furthermore, why have a "National Language" when Filipinos are already proficient in the global lingua franca of commerce and scientific achievement?

Victims of drug-crazed addicts don't get 'trending' hashtags like #JusticeForKian

For the past few days I was doing research on a few things like I said. A new FB friend sent me a message telling me about a Dad in Dumaguete who lost his only daughter to a drug crazed addict who used 7 knives to stab her and a friend in Siquijor last April. I did the research, read up on everything and his recent "upheavals". I need not tell you all that I have no words to fully express how deeply this affects me because I am a single mom with a daughter too. His only daughter was even 3 - 4 months pregnant when she and her friend was mercilessly stabbed to death so many times by a drug addict. Nino Pinero is a professor in Siliman University. He is a coach. Given what I have read about this gentleman, he is a very compassionate man, a loving father and being a coach to youngsters - deeply loved by his students. And I would like to give him his privacy in as much as I can. 100% respect for this man. His recent "upheavals" came with the pronouncements

Leni Robredo is incapable of taking a position on CRITICAL national issues

The Philippines' "vice president" Leni Robredo is renowned for starting every statement with the phrase " ang sa akin lang naman " (in my humble opinion). As in something like this, for example... Ang sa akin lang naman, Martial Law in Mindanao won't be effective... Blah blah blah... And more of that to the same effect. What does Robredo's propose? Essentially nothing . The trouble with that is, Filipinos are all options but no roadmap . As such, Robredo mirrors the essence of the failure of the Philippine Opposition. They make a lot of noise about options (packaged as being "critical" of the administration) yet offer no pathway forward. It is hardly surprising why the Philippine Opposition led by the Yellowtards continues to fail.
