#Filipinos are ill-mannered condo #neighbours

I am a foreigner and live in a condo unit. You know what? There are certain Filipino residents here that can’t even push their garbage down a trash shute completely. How hard is it to give one foot/pound of force so it will go down all the way? They just leave it. They sweep their hair, and dust out of the unit expecting somebody to clean it up instead of walking it to the garbage. They don’t even hold the elevator for you and see you are coming. If you take one extra second of their precious day, it is too much. I can go on, but that is enough.

    i can relate to this and its regardless of my being filipino...i was shocked to just see the trash put out outside their door ,,my reaction was WTF?!?!?!?!... im quite sure that they could have called someone to pick it up at least, or throw the trash out when they go out

Jose Rizal never had Tagalog in mind when he encouraged us to love our own language

Posted by a certain Chloe Santiago on the Facebook GRP Community Group : Jose Rizal died in 1896 and Tagalog was declared the official language of the Philippine only in 1937. This can only mean that Rizal wasn't really talking about Tagalog when he made this statement: "He who does not love his own language is worse than an animal and smelly fish." Indeed. Who made the arbitrary directive to make the Tagalog dialect the "National Language" to begin with? Furthermore, why have a "National Language" when Filipinos are already proficient in the global lingua franca of commerce and scientific achievement?

Filipinos have no right to complain about being fenced off #ASEAN2017 VIP lanes

Perhaps Filipino motorists deserved to be fenced off from ASEAN lanes that have been cordoned  off for the duration of the ASEAN Summit to be held in Manila this week. Filipino drivers, after all, are renowned for being being ill-mannered and inconsiderate and not at all deserving of the privilege of using public roads to begin with. Indeed, according to this Top Gear report , most Filipinos cheated their way through the process of acquiring a driver's licence.. Assuming you actually took the Land Transportation Office's written examination while applying for a driver's license for the first time--as opposed to just paying off the LTO officer in exchange for a passing mark--there's a good chance you encountered a fixer anyway.
