David Yap and I were the very first to post in social media about the anomalous data trends in the VP race during the May 2016 elections.

And the insult and trolling we got were severe and relentless. We have been caricatured and demeaned. Our academic credentials were questioned.

Friends unfriended me. Colleagues laughed at me. People who knew me to be a thorough academic suddenly joined the mob. Others even questioned my sanity.

Even my family was not spared.  The legal problems of a relative was shamelessly outed even if he had nothing to do with my politics.  My alleged plagiarism case from UPLB was resurrected and used against me. People invented lies about me having sexual harassment cases.

Many believed I was a paid Marcos lackey.

But while I voted for him and openly endorsed him in social media, I did not actively campaign for Senator Bongbong Marcos. His campaign manager Jonathan Dela Cruz can attest that I was never involved in his campaign.

When the existence of a 4th server was revealed, I almost cried. This is it.  David and I were on the right.

And now that the election protest of Senator Marcos is making progress, I know deep in my heart that this is good enough.

And I am waiting for the day that we will be completely vindicated.

    It's amazing how people react to matters before they think. I'm sure those who vilified you were sorry. I'm glad you and David stood up on your beliefs and it's paying off. Well done and more power to you & to others😊

To Gilas fans I respect very much your support and enthusiasm on the win and efforts of Gilas. But "Pwede na yan attitude" (this will do) is a clear sign of FILIPINO MEDIOCRITY – being happy & contented with a none bearing win instead of winning all 4. It also makes Filipinos stupid/dumb because there is really Nothing to be proud of – win or loose Senegal not Gilas will qualify in the next round of FIBA. "Pwede na yan! Jose Rizal never had Tagalog in mind when he encouraged us to love our own language

Posted by a certain Chloe Santiago on the Facebook GRP Community Group : Jose Rizal died in 1896 and Tagalog was declared the official language of the Philippine only in 1937. This can only mean that Rizal wasn't really talking about Tagalog when he made this statement: "He who does not love his own language is worse than an animal and smelly fish." Indeed. Who made the arbitrary directive to make the Tagalog dialect the "National Language" to begin with? Furthermore, why have a "National Language" when Filipinos are already proficient in the global lingua franca of commerce and scientific achievement?

Filipinos have no right to complain about being fenced off #ASEAN2017 VIP lanes

Perhaps Filipino motorists deserved to be fenced off from ASEAN lanes that have been cordoned  off for the duration of the ASEAN Summit to be held in Manila this week. Filipino drivers, after all, are renowned for being being ill-mannered and inconsiderate and not at all deserving of the privilege of using public roads to begin with. Indeed, according to this Top Gear report , most Filipinos cheated their way through the process of acquiring a driver's licence.. Assuming you actually took the Land Transportation Office's written examination while applying for a driver's license for the first time--as opposed to just paying off the LTO officer in exchange for a passing mark--there's a good chance you encountered a fixer anyway.
