Bayan Muna Representative Teddy Casiño's hypocritical extension of condolence to Jesse Robredo #salamatjesse #epalwatch

Have I said enough already about the duplicity commies are famous for? Perhaps not yet. A press release issued by Malacañang today includes this statement from one of them:
Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Teddy Casino said he sends his sincere condolences to the family and friends of Secretary Robredo.

“Secretary Jesse was an outstanding local chief executive and a very competent Department Secretary. He was one of the few Cabinet members who we truly respected and appreciated. We were witness to his compassion for the informal settlers whose violent demolitions we both tried to stop. His death is a big loss to the cause of good governance,” he said.

Funny that, considering some time ago, Casiño's politburo was reportedly calling for Robredo's head to be served on a platter...

Translation:
DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo appealed to critics to defer their call for him to resign his position until the Incident Investigation and Review Committee (IIRC) completes its investigation.

A number of House Representatives have been calling for Robredo's resignation including Bayan Muna partylist along with a number of congressmen who also hail from Robredo's hometown in Bicol.

  2. As public servants, all politicians are prone to criticism. Teddy Casiño has been criticized by other officials and netizens that have yet to prove their worth in any government position. But that does not stop him from working with them (including Robredo) for the benefit of the people. After the said hostage crisis issue, Robredo and Casiño worked together to aid informal settlers. Most recently, the late DILG Sec and Casiño worked to restore electricity in Pantabangan town in Nueva Ecija.

Eventually, the two gained each other's trust and respect. Casiño does not hold personal grudges against people, only against the wrongs that they do, especially if they are unapologetic about it.

And anyone sincere in pushing for the rights of Filipinos will most gain respect and admiration.

  3. Don't by the excuse from Casino's PR man. So what if they suddenly "gained" each other's trust? Are you also saying that other TRAPO's are also right to whitewash their crimes by simply sending their condolences? Come on, this isn't the first time that Casino has criticized without basis. This just happens to be the first time the one he criticized happened to be an outstanding public official who died in a tragic accident.
