Julia Abad, chief of the Presidential Management Staff, and daughter of Budget Secretary Butch Abad recently posted on her Facebook page a statement in defence of her father. She writes that the public should not let allegations made by Janet Lim-Napoles "shake our belief that a reformist public service is possible." Karma at work in Leila de Lima's "character assassination"!

This is karmic justice at work. Duterte just happens to be the channel that the universe used to send back to De Lima what she dished out to others. How can De Lima cry foul and accuse Duterte of character assassination, after what she and her yellow master did to Gloria Arroyo, Angelo Reyes, Chief Justice Corona, VP Binay, and Duterte himself? (i.e., defying SC TRO, illegal detention for 6 years, slander, nonstop public humiliation, trial by publicity) How can De Lima ask for her family to be spared, when she and her yellow master harassed even the Arroyo, Corona, and Binay children, spouses, and relatives with court cases, and drove Reyes and Corona to their deaths? How can De Lima accuse Duterte of being misogynistic (anti-feminist), when she is the one playing the gender card instead of answering the accusations, and Duterte is in fact fighting her like an equal? “Youth is wasted on the young”, they used to say. If you send your daughter or son, to universities, like the University of the Philippines. You send him or her, to learn about the subjects, of the field, he/she is hoping to finish and graduate. Not waste his/her time on bankrupt political ideologies like communism. Jo Lapira, the NPA casualty is a good example. Her parents, may have been slaving to earn money to send her, to college and give her a good education, so that, after graduation, she could have a good job and a good career, to better her life. However, she wasted this opportunity in her life fighting for an ideology she hardly understood. She wasted her life; and now her life ends tragically, in a clash with the AFP. Reporters Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato of @Reuters LIED about the Duterte "Hitler" quote

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. At least, if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ….. my victims, all criminals, to finish a problem of my country, and save the next generation.” (See for yourself here .
