Filipinos too stupid to solve EDSA traffic jams

Traffic on Metro Manila's main artery EDSA being jammed by public utility buses loading and unloading indiscriminately in the middle of the road. This is one of the obvious problems plaguing the country that Filipinos tend to be too stupid to do anything about.

  3. This only shows that the typical driver does not care about other motorists. Due to his selfish and dense nature, he causes inconvenience to others. He does not care and would even reason out that he just wants to earn a living. This type of undisciplined drivers must be trained and indoctrinated with the right values before being let loose on the roads. Otherwise, they must be dealt with severely.

    1. Life is getting bitter these days. That changes their mindset in gaining money over respecting other motorists.

    1. not much to be proud of in the philippines. we are ranked the 5th most hungry country in the world. we have a disappointing national IQ average because the quality of public education is moot. and yet we are stil debating wether the proposition de RH is good for the country. we are screwed ...

  5. that's the most i hate, traffic ... kahit may color coding pa, still on the same status ang traffic natin ... panu na kaya kung hindi pa nag-abroad ang ibang pinoy? mas lalong traffic, walang trabaho at daming tambay sa kalye ...

Your Excellency, President Noynoy, i hope na magawa mo to ng sulusyon. kaming lahat ang nagdusa dito ...

  7. the riding public is also to blame. some would insist on alighting even though the bus is in the middle of the road. more so they even get mad if the bus doesn't stop where they want. there should be discipline in everyone.

  8. there is only one solution for that problems if our government has balls to do it

CONFISCATE AND CANCEL THE LICENSE OF THIS DRIVERS WHO ARE VIOLATING THIS TRAFFIC RULES. BY DOING THIS, IT WILL A SERVE A LESSON TO OTHER DRIVERS.

  12. If only everyone would agree, why don't they make majority of the streets in Metro Manila all one way, traffic going clockwise from Balintawak to Baclaran and round again? And all interconnecting streets also one way only. just a thought.

  13. Let's do some math. The bus operator gets income say 20 pesos per passenger. In that scenario there could be an estimate of say 10 passengers per bus say 40 passengers in total. P 20 x 40 = P 800. At the expense of say 1000 people expending 15 min of their time each in that instance so that's 250 man-hours!
