COMELEC Spokesman James Jimenez not registered to vote @jabjimenez #juanvote

Jimenez confessed his voter's registration has been deactivated because of his failure to vote in the last two elections. He said his work with the poll body prevented him from going to his voting precinct.

Jimenez said he has not been able to reactivate his registration, making him ineligible to participate in the local absentee voting, which is being offered by the Comelec for its employees, other government employees and military and police who will be working on Election Day.

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. The male Al Jazeera journalist, Wayne Hay, was very rude and condescending toward President Duterte. He acted like an ignorant hill-billy tourist talking down to a Pinoy taxi driver. But President Duterte’s sincerity and good heart won out in the end. The President’s humility and simple but intelligent answers exposed Hay’s pettiness and shameful lack of knowledge. Hay has some nerve acting all indignant about the killings in the Philippines when he’s not even Filipino and obviously has a very shallow understanding of what goes on here. He didn’t even know President Duterte was referring to the UN arbitration ruling when the President held up a table napkin while they were discussing the South China Sea issue.
