Here is why #LabanLeni Robredo is afraid of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal...

This is what I read from "a plot to steal the Vice-Presidency".

It is to preempt the Supreme Court sitting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal's decision. It is to force the SC-PET into deciding in her favor. It is to poison the well so that there will be only one acceptable result.

They will accept a favorable decision from the PET. But if the PET finds that she benefited from electoral fraud, they will protest and claim that she was cheated and that the Vice-Presidency is being stolen from her.

It won't matter if an honest recount shows that she lost. Even today, Yellow supporters already claim that the SC has already been coerced and corrupted. They will never accept a decision against Robredo no matter how concrete the evidence is.

Why is Robredo afraid of the PET? They have a copy of the protest. They have a copy of the evidence against her. They probably know that the evidence is strong against her.

So they resort to taking it to media, painting a picture of being oppressed, and playing to the emotions of her supporters. We've all seen this from the Yellow before.

For them, there are only two outcomes:
1. Robredo is the rightfully elected Vice-President
2. The SC was bought to steal the Vice-Presidency from Robredo.

My mistake, that's only one possible outcome.

Jose Rizal never had Tagalog in mind when he encouraged us to love our own language

Posted by a certain Chloe Santiago on the Facebook GRP Community Group : Jose Rizal died in 1896 and Tagalog was declared the official language of the Philippine only in 1937. This can only mean that Rizal wasn't really talking about Tagalog when he made this statement: "He who does not love his own language is worse than an animal and smelly fish." Indeed. Who made the arbitrary directive to make the Tagalog dialect the "National Language" to begin with? Furthermore, why have a "National Language" when Filipinos are already proficient in the global lingua franca of commerce and scientific achievement?

NAKAKAHIYA I watched Bodet Honrado's performance before the Senate. It's clear that the job of NAIA Gen Manager is too big for him. He is out of place there and should be yanked out before more damage is done to passengers, airlines, tourism, the economy and the country's reputation.  The lesson here is quite basic. Place people in key positions whose qualifications, experience and track record fit the job. #Filipino #parents feel "disrespected" by kids' "talking back" w/ alternative points of view

Lagi kaming nagkaclash ng mama ko dahil lang sinasabi ko ang totoo or by simply voicing out an opinion that is different from hers. When I voice out my opinion or inform them that certain things don't happen like this or that, my mom always regard that as a sign of disrespect. She tells me "matalino ka nga, nawawalan ka naman ng respeto sa kin. Sinasagot mo na ako." And in my mind, I'm like "what??! When did telling the truth disrespectful?" tapos pag nagsasalita ako mahinahon pa. Yung tipong nag eeducate. And then I told her "mama, when I clarify something, it's not my way of disrespecting you. Makinig ka rin sa opinyon ko para magets mo ang point ko." And no matter how hard I try to make her understand my point, she will still get hurt over my "talking back moments.
