Massive deterioration of #MRT system happened under #PNoy administration!

Before Mar Roxas ran for public office, he served at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). At the time he was living in his family's house in Cubao, Quezon City. His office was on Gil Puyat (Buendia) in Makati City. He would often make a big deal about how easy it was to get to work using the MRT — a fifteen minute commute when the shortest bus ride would take anywhere between thirty to forty-five minutes.

Ironically, under Roxas' watch, the DOTC presided over the massive deterioration of the MRT system, culminating in the derailment last Wednesday, 13 August 2014. He also failed to move on any other transportation infrastructure project. In fact, he (and his boss, Penoy Aquino) caused several projects approved by the previous administration to be retarded.

Being able to empathize with their fellow men — 'walking a mile in their shoes,' as it were — doesn't magically transform a buffoon into a competent bureaucrat.

Day 2: Senate hearing backfires against a rattled Senator Leila de Lima!

Just watched Day 2 of Senate hearing. Tables were turned once again on De Lima, without any effort it seems from the PNP or Duterte's senate allies. This must really be karma at work, or Duterte's magic is really strong. De Lima opened the session by saying she had asked ABS-CBN, Inquirer, and GMA 7 to submit their "kill list" databases and methodology for compiling the lists. However, only GMA 7 submitted. Strange. If those lists were being prepared properly, shouldn't these media groups have their databases and methodology on hand at any time? Or were those lists haphazardly done? Sandra Cam showed up in the middle of the hearing and sat directly behind De Lima. But Cam disappeared after a while, so viewers were not treated to scratching and hair-pulling. BREAKING NEWS! Bongbong Marcos NOT conceding! Fight vs fraud is on!

Contrary to the way Big Yellow Media and International Media have portrayed events of recent days, the reality is BBM is NOT CONCEDING.  I have learned just now in good authority that this is so.  The focus right now is on gathering and documenting evidence and testimonies of electoral fraud.  Much has already been gathered and more are coming.  Please continue to be extra vigilant and engaged as these days are ultra critical while there is not yet a VP proclamation.
