Trust your most basic instincts. According to evolutionary psychologists, our minds and bodies are finely-tuned instruments of sexual mate seeking. So even with the billion dollar beauty and personal care industry turning out products to deceive or mislead these instincts, most of us are able to see past make up, cologne and padding to see true beauty in the sense of the way millions of years of evolution had designed us to seek it out for reproductive purposes.

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. At least, if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ….. my victims, all criminals, to finish a problem of my country, and save the next generation.” (See for yourself here . Filipinos cannot build a strong nation because they are incapable of cooperating with one another

Filipinos are renowned for being utterly unable to co-operate. Even within families they cheat and abuse each other. Nobody trusts anybody else for a very good reason: most Filipinos are untrustworthy. They’ll stab you in the back if they think there’s some short-term gain in it. This is a hole that’s very hard to dig yourself out of. Nobody can offer to help his neighbor, or his neighborhood, or his country, because he knows that sooner or later one of two things will happen: he’ll be slapped down for failing to conform to social expectations, or he’ll be ripped off so often that he’ll just give up. So exactly how do you suppose a strong, independent nation is going to be built upon that? It’s impossible. Strong societies are strong because they learn to co-operate among themselves. Leni Robredo betrays Filipinos in another interview for TIME Magazine!

It’s not just Leni Robredo’s video to the UN that makes her guilty of betrayal of public trust. She also gave an interview to Time magazine that was published around the same time as the release of her UN video, the filing of the impeachment against President Duterte, and the announcement of the EU Parliament’s resolution. You still want us to believe this is all just a coincidence, Leni? Maybe your masters left you out of the planning because you are just a puppet, but they were definitely coordinating their moves. Note that in the Time interview, Leni makes the Philippines sound like a chaotic, dangerous place with a total breakdown of law and order, such that international organizations need to intervene. She also undermines the integrity of the Philippine judiciary by telling the world that Leila de Lima’s arrest (which was ordered by the court) was politically motivated and basically illegal.
