Scale of brainwashing seen in Yellowtard cult unprecedented in Philippine history

Before there were “Du30-tards”, there were “YellowTards”. The Yellows invented the “tards”-style cult system. Du30-tards are just a natural by-product or offshoot to counterbalance the vicious YellowTards cult modus (“For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action”–Newton’s 3rd Law). There really have been no “Gloria-tards” or even “Erap-tards” on the scale & level of fanaticism started by the Yellow cult.

Blame the “yellow” journalists who exploited their foreign connections, & who would slant their news to worsen an already tenuous situation, uncaring even if it were to create misunderstanding between nations. When balanced & professionally objective reporting becomes secondary to personal political agenda, expect mistrust to ensue. What you sow is what you reap. Journalists do have power, & when you abuse that power, there is backlash.

There are good reporters who may be affected by a growing mistrust a few reporter colleagues have created. Just as the whole Catholic church suffered from mistrust due to the sins of a few pedophile priests, so are many good reporters suffering because of the sins of a few of their colleagues.

The oh-so-noble journalists are at it again, this time, with Duterte’s Hitler comment. I am no Duterte fanatic. I criticize him more scathingly than anyone when his mouth is out of line. But this time, Duterte really didn’t say anything wrong. The real culprits behind the fuss over his Hitler comment are Karen Lema and Manuel Mogato, two Filipino reporters of the Reuters news agency, who wrote this article: “ Philippines’ Duterte likens himself to Hitler, wants to kill millions of drug addicts ”. Lema and Mogato are Filipinos. There’s no way they could have misunderstood what Duterte really meant in his speech. I watched the video and this is what the President said: “Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. There are 3 million drug addicts. I’d be happy to slaughter them. At least, if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ….. my victims, all criminals, to finish a problem of my country, and save the next generation.” (See for yourself here . I finally feel that I need to speak up. There has been much in the press lately about newly elected Philippine President Duterte. Most of what is said focuses on his policies toward the illegal drug problem, and his direct (to put it mildly) comments to other national leaders, particularly to US leaders. The world's press responds with concern, even alarm. In the Philippines, he is immensely popular. As an American who has lived here in the Philippines for 30+ years, I think I understand why. First World observers criticise the Philippines and its police thru the lens of an alien cultural context

To our 1st-World Critics: A few days ago, one of our youngest police officers at age 23 was shot dead while trying to serve a warrant of arrest. He wasn't just a Police officer, he was also a Christian youth minister. He was shot to death by the drug peddler before he could even speak. He was laid to his final resting place last Sunday, leaving a wife and family. We have lost many good men in this fight. The context of drug addiction in a 1st world country is a far cry from a country like ours.
