#Justice is nonexistent in the #Philippines because Filipinos don't understand Rule of Law

The Philippines is simply not a civilised society. The justice system is not just slow: it does not exist.

Filipinos in general just don't grasp the concept of a society ruled by law. Like almost every institution in the country, they've copied the superficial appearance of a legal system but completely failed to understand how and why it works (or should work). They interact with each other on the basis of threats and intimidation, exactly as they have for centuries. They support Duterte because they understand him.

Unfortunately, you can't actually solve problems by killing people, whatever the movies might say. Davao is still full of Filipinos who commit minor, everyday crimes against each other that don't merit attention from Duterte. I suspect what the Philippines needs is some missionaries to cast out their demons. There is no natural solution for their moral failures.

Voting the wrong people deeply-ingrained in the #Philippines' electorate

The things said about how people vote gets to be confusing because although most of them are correct some are not really exactly what they appear to be. Let me just focus on the other angle of the issue which is seldom talked about nor given more exposure so that we can widen the coverage of the discussion. When talking about electorate we have to differentiate the classification of voters. We have the masa and the middle class and higher class of the voting public. I'm not saying it's just the masa that is guilty for they will not be able to vote for those questionable candidates without the help of those who are more educated and influential than them. The criminals and the crooks get voted not because they are worthy but because they already established and enjoy advantage in terms of influence, bailwicks, followers and of course capital. Leni Robredo is incapable of taking a position on CRITICAL national issues

The Philippines' "vice president" Leni Robredo is renowned for starting every statement with the phrase " ang sa akin lang naman " (in my humble opinion). As in something like this, for example... Ang sa akin lang naman, Martial Law in Mindanao won't be effective... Blah blah blah... And more of that to the same effect. What does Robredo's propose? Essentially nothing . The trouble with that is, Filipinos are all options but no roadmap . As such, Robredo mirrors the essence of the failure of the Philippine Opposition. They make a lot of noise about options (packaged as being "critical" of the administration) yet offer no pathway forward. It is hardly surprising why the Philippine Opposition led by the Yellowtards continues to fail.
